A team from the All-China Women＇s Federation （ACWF） condncted an inspection tour of South China＇s Hainan Province between October 22-24. The team, headed by Tan Lin, Member of ACWF＇s Secretariat, monitored the province＇s efforts to protect rural women＇s legal rights and interests related to their use of land. During the team＇s visit to Hainan, ACWF hosted a symposium, on protecting rural women＇s land-related rights, in Haikou, capital of Hainan Province. Representatives of several government organs, including the Higher People＇s Court of Hainan Province, Hainan Women＇s Federation and the provincial departments of Agriculture and Land and Resources, attended.
