Views on Differences of the Description of Foreign Individual Authors

外国个人责任者姓名的结构和形式较为复杂,图书馆在文献著录中难免出现一些差异,主要表现在对无并列题名但载有汉译与原文姓名的著录、有并列题名且载有汉译与原文姓名的著录、规定信息源仅有原文姓名但其他信息源有汉译姓名的著录、非规范汉译姓名的著录、汉译姓名惯称的著录、原文姓名在70-字段的著录等方面。

The name structure and form of foreign individual authors is more complicated, it is hard for the library to avoid appearing some differences in the literature description. These differences mainly show in following aspects, such as the description of not having the parallel title but having the Chinese name and the original name; the description of having the parallel title, the Chinese name and the original name; the description of having only the original name in prescribed information sources but having the Chinese name in other information sources; the description of the non-standardized Chinese name; the description of the usual Chinese name; the description of the original name in the 70- field, and so on.
