Book classification is an important link in cataloging service. The classification quality in outsourcing of cataloging service directly affects the quality of bibliographic data. This paper analyzes the book classification appearing in outsourcing of cataloging service from aspects of both outsourcing firm and library, probes into the factors affecting the quality of classification,and putted forward effective measures to improve the quality of book classification in outsourcing of cataloging service, and puts forward some effective measures for improving the quality of book classification in outsourcing of cataloging service.
