In order to evaluate the effects of adhesive conductors on the surrounding environment, anti-accident measures of the conductor adhesion were studied with a case of conductor adhesion in the 220 kV twin bundle. A kind of detection methods was proposed, and the field survey and analysis were completed from the aspects of the electric field, magnetic field values, conductor temperature and noise decibel values. The harm and influence of conductor adhesion were introduced, and causes of the twin bundle adhesion were analyzed based on theoretical calculation. The main reason of the conductor adhesion was verified to be the load current surge with MATLAB simulation. The test data were analyzed with the curve of line current, and countermeasures were proposed such as adding interval rods, reducing the current load and increasing conductor spacing.
