母仪,即为母之道和作母亲的仪范。关于辽朝的母仪规范,史料记载不多。然而在出土的诸多辽代墓志中多有反映。对墓志进行梳理,从中可以看出辽代社会中"母仪"的规范和要求主要注重训育子女、主持家政等职责。这种规范和要求,是辽代社会不断发展造成的,既有辽代社会"尊母"风尚的推动,又有家族的需要和"母以子贵"的现实影响。

Very few records about the motherhood of Liao Dynastyare found.Most of it is reflected on the stone carv-ings of Liao dynasty.From the stone carvings,we can know the motherhood of Liao dynasty.It mainly pays attentionto teaching children and takes care of routine matters,and so on.This is caused by the development of the Liao dy-nasty.It is promoted by the fashion of the statue of the mother,on the other hand,it is the needs of the family.What＇s more,the mother＇s honour increases as her son＇s position rises.
