摘要
以问卷调查形式,通过描述性统计,对大学一年级非英语专业本科生进行学习动机、学习喜好、学习困难和学习需求调查,发现:(1)学生学习英语的工具型动机明显;(2)学生希望教学内容多课外知识、英语四六级、考试技巧;教学模式多互动、轻松有趣;(3)学生最大的困难是记不住单词;(4)需要老师给予考试技巧、口语、语法等方面的帮助。针对调查结果,提出若干教学建议。
In the form of questionnaires, by means of descriptive statistics, a survey of the learning motivation, preference, difficulties and needs of non-English-major freshmen shows:(1) The instrumental motivation of students learning English is obvious;(2) Students hope the teaching content can offer more extracurricular knowledge, CET-4,CET-6 and examination skills; the teaching mode can be more interactive and fun;(3) Students think it's difficult to remember the words;(4) Students need the teacher to help them with examination skills, oral English and grammar. Based on the findings the paper offers some pedagogical suggestions.
