小说有毒:19世纪的流动图书馆与大众阅读

摘要 流动图书馆不仅改变了小说出版这一行业的经济形态,左右着19世纪的出版政策,而且,它全面决定了19世纪英国小说的形式和内容。一言以蔽之,19世纪的英国小说体现着流动图书馆所喜欢的篇幅、所偏爱的情节、所赞同的主题、所拥护的价值观。
