Artistry of Chinese Martial Arts

艺术性是武术的属性之一,"艺以美为旨归",也是武术审美研究的主要命题。从文化之艺、技击之艺、教化之艺、舞美之艺四个维度对武术的艺术性进行探讨。研究认为:中国传统文化是武术艺术的理论始源,镜射着幽远深邃的思想美,是中国武术审美必须坚持的民族性特征;技击是武术的本质属性,内隐着万法归宗的本真美,是中国武术审美不得扬弃的要义;教化是武术的终极价值诉求,体现着人伦至上的精神美,是中国武术审美孜孜以求的境界;舞美是武术美的突出外显,绽放着流光溢彩的表象美,是中国武术审美与时俱进的时代书写。

Artistry is one of the properties and the major proposition of the aesthetic research into the martial arts. As ＂Beauty is the nature of art＂, the artistry of the martial arts is studied from the artistry of culture, the artistry of combating, the artistry of education and the artistry of dancing. The origin of the artistry of the martial arts is the traditional Chinese culture, which embraces beauty of deep thinking. The Chinese characteristics are what to be kept first and foremost. Combating is the basic feature of the martial arts, including the beauty of the nature. The beauty of education reflects the ultimate appeal for values of the martial arts and the spiritual beauty. The beauty of dancing demonstrates the beauty of the modern times and modern martial arts.
