The Shanghai Fuxi Food Safety Incident has aroused concerns with the predicament of present food safety regulation in China. In the Food Safety Law of the PRC （revised draft） publicized in July of 2014, there is still room for improvement in terms of promoting food safety regulation. Approaches to the perfection of food safety regulation legislation in China include ＂establishing an unified and efficient food safety regulation system＂, ＂establishing a prize--for-- reporting system＂, ＂establishing a strict and overall regulation system＂, and ＂ further implementing the regulation and accountability system＂.
