Fusion of Traditional Puxue with Modern Historiography:A Brief Introduction of the Study of Chenwei by Chen Pan

陈槃先生的谶纬研究可分为以历史资料为中心的外廓研究和谶纬文献研究两部分。实际上在具体的研究过程中,陈槃是将文献研究与历史研究有机地融合在一起来发现谶纬的历史和谶纬构建的古史系统。这体现了他朴学家的精神和现代史学家的追求。

The study of Chenwei by Chen Pan is composed of two parts, i.e., historical data-centered research and literature-centered research. In fact, in the process of the study, Chen Pan blended the parts organically, in order to find out the history of Chenwei and the ancient history system established by Chenwei, which embodies his Puxue spirit and the pursuit of modern historians.
