An Analysis of Kazakhstan′s Foreign Policies to EU(1991-2012)

自1993年哈萨克斯坦与欧盟建立外交关系后,在哈萨克斯坦的努力以及欧盟的积极回应下,双方的政治和经贸关系持续深入发展。同时,哈欧关系中也存在着哈萨克斯坦市场经济地位悬而未决、双方贸易结构不平衡以及哈萨克斯坦"外交地位独特性"等问题。哈欧关系既面临大国关系的考验与竞争,又面临具体问题的困扰,但双方都将会本着务实的原则,努力扩大合作,解决问题。

Since establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and the European Union in 1993 and due to the Kaza-khstan＇s progressive efforts and positive responses from EU, the bilateral relations have achieved extensive and in-depth developments in political and economic relations. Meanwhile, there remain issues in the Kazakhstan-EU relations, such as the pending market econ-omy status, imbalances of the structure of bilateral trade, and Kazakhstan＂unique diplomatic status＂, etc. The Kazakhstan-EU rela-tions face both challenges and competition of big-powers relations and specific issues, but both sides will be in a pragmatic principle to expand cooperation and solve problems.
