Starting Scheme for Large Capacity Medium-Voltage Motor

选择水电阻、固态软起动器、变频三种软起动方式,分析对于大容量高压电动机上述三种软起动方案的优缺点。介绍了在系统容量小,工艺不需要变频调速情况下,以小拖大降容变频软起的运用。

Three methods of soft starting, namely water resistance soft starter, solid-state soft starter and variable frequency device（ VFD） soft starter were introduced. The advantages and disadvantages of the above three kinds of soft starting scheme for large capacity MV motor were analyzed, and especially the application of variable frequency soft starter for low power capacity system that starter＇s capacity is smaller than MV motor rating, in which VFD is not required in productive process.
