英语中含蓄否定句的表达方式及翻译

由于受汉语的影响,中国学生在学习英语时往往习惯套用汉语的表达方式,用汉语的思维去翻译英语。一提到否定句,句子中必须有否定词。然而,在英语中,有些句子的形式是肯定的,表达的意思却是否定的,在把它们译成汉语时不能望文生义,而是应当用否定句来表示。这种含蓄否定句的翻译需从词汇、语法、修辞、谚语几个方面来探讨。

Influenced by Chinese, Chinese students are used to studying English in the way of Chinese expression, and translating with Chinese mind. At the mention of negative sentence, the sentence must have negative words. However, in English, the form of some sentences is positive while the meaning of expressions is negative, hence we should avoid its literal trancelation and express in negative sentence while translating into Chinese. To translate this kind of implied negative sentence, we need considering vocabulary, grammar,rhetoric, proverb, etc.
