高校思想政治理论课承担着对大学生进行系统的马克思主义理论教育的任务,是对大学生进行思想政治教育的主渠道。当前部分思政课教师的马克思主义信仰不够坚定,学生出现信仰多元化倾向,高校普遍重视知识教育而忽视信仰教育。实现思政课从知识教育向信仰教育转变是应试教育向素质教育转变、增强高校思政课实效性、实现大学生全面发展的必然要求。
