词汇是语言的基本要素,具有深刻的文化内涵。从源语到目标语的翻译过程中,对目标语词汇的选择在很大程度上决定了译文是否地道。语料库语言学的研究成果已经广泛运用到语言研究的多个领域,英语语料库对英语作为外语目标语的翻译、尤其是对翻译过程中目标语词汇的选择处理具有重要的辅助作用。

Words are basic elements in a language and contain their own cultural connotations, which play important roles in a piece of authentic translated work from the source language into the target one. As Corpus Linguistics is being widely used in many language fields, the English corpora are proved to be highly helpful to translation into English as the foreign and target language, especially when it comes to selecting a proper English word.
