This article mainly introduces the disease mechanism,characteristics,clinical diagnosis of type 1 diabetes,then introduces the clinical treatments of type 1 diabetes.More emphasis is put on using stem cell to treat type 1 diabetes which includes the concept of stem cell and its clinical research values, in order to make readers have a more comprehensive understanding to the applications of stem cell in treatment of type 1 diabetes.
