界牌河段为顺直展宽分汊型河段,河道内洲滩较多,主流及滩槽形态极不稳定,是长江中游著名的碍航河段。综合治理工程实施后虽然下段分汊的格局得到维持,过渡段的摆动范围得到一定的限制,但由于实施时过渡段位置偏下,滩槽并未得到完全控制,上段的滩槽变化仍然较为剧烈,主流不稳定,为抓住控制过渡段位置的有利时机,二期工程对新淤洲前沿的过渡段低滩进行守护。主要分析二期工程实施后过渡段航槽的变化,并对过渡段航槽发展的趋势进行预测。
