新艺术运动时期的平面设计风格、观念均来自于设计家们对传统观念的反叛、对机械及新材料的承认和接收,以及这种带有欧洲中世纪和东方装饰艺术的设计风格给平面设计领域带来了重要影响。本文主要是以新艺术运动时期平面艺术风格中的黑白线条绘画为列,分别论述了新艺术运动时期的平面艺术风格的背景介绍;新艺术运动时期黑白线条绘画的风格特点;比亚兹莱、布莱德利和里克茨三者黑白线条绘画的艺术风格及代表作品。进而指出新艺术运动时期的黑白线条绘画大师比亚兹莱、布莱德利和里克茨三者黑白线条绘画风格的相同点与不同点以及对后世的影响。
