An Analysis Report of Transport and Logistic Industry in August of 2014

1—8月,全社会累计完成货运量275.5亿t,增长7.5%。其中,铁路货物发送量下降2.2%,公路、水路货运量分别增长9.0%和6.4%。客运增速基本平稳2014年8月,全社会（铁路、公路、水路,下同）完成客运量19.1亿人,同比增长4.9%,增速较上月回落0.5百分点。其中,铁路、水路客运量增速持续加快,分别增长16.1%和20.3%;公路客运量增速有所放缓,增长3.3%,回落1.2百分点。1—8月,全社会累计完成客运量145.8亿人,增长3.1%,其中铁路、公路、水路客运量分别增长10.8%、2.1%和12.6%。

Recently, Ministry of Transport disclosed the transport business and economic performance from Jan. to Aug. of the year. During August, transport and economic performance were comparatively better than that of last month with minor increases in cargo,port production and investment and other fields, etc. Though,passenger transport business was slowing down its growth pace, it was fundamentally stable.
