Teaching reform of urban-rural planning specialty under the new urbanization background

现阶段我国正处于新一轮发展的重要战略机遇期,城乡规划作为城乡发展建设的依据和蓝图,其作用愈发重要。城乡规划是一门综合性、实践性和政策性都很强的学科,其技术方法、政策规范及人才需求等在不断发展。鉴于一系列的变化,城乡规划专业的教学工作也面临着新的挑战和要求,必须转变思路、与时俱进、深化改革,以更好地适应新形势,培养合格的现代化城乡规划专业人才。

Nowadays, China is in an important period of strategic opportunities for a new round of development. Urban-rural planning, the basis and blueprints for the development of urban and rural construction,is playing increasingly essential role. Also, the technical methods, policy specification as well as demands for talent of urban-rural planning should keep pace with times due to the characteristics of this subject, including integration,practicing and policy. Considering a series of changes, the teaching of urban-rural planning is also facing new challenges and requirements that we ought to change ideas, advance with the times as well as deepen the reform, in order to better adapt to the new situation and train qualified talents that specialized in urban-rural planning.
