“An Enthusiastic Shouter”:Mao Dun during the Period of Chief Editing the Novel Monthly

茅盾于1920年底到1922年间担任《小说月报》的主编。本文对这一时期《小说月报》的特点与历史作用进行了分析,由此对作为主编茅盾于新文学上的贡献及缺憾作出评价。

During the period from the end of 1920 to 1922, Mao Dun was the chief editor of the Novel Monthly magazine. This paper gives an analysis on the features and historical function of Novel Monthly of this period, in order to make a commentary on Mao Duma＇ s contribution to the new literature as a chief editor.
