摘要
20世纪60年代,随着美国民权运动的蓬勃开展,美国原住民族开始重视自我的公民权与教育权,美国政府也意识到发展民族高等教育的重要性,开始立法保障原住民族的教育权,允许原住民族建构合乎自身需求的高等教育体系,部落学院由此逐步开始发展起来。本文将以近年来美国部落学院教师为参照,探讨美国当代部落学院教师在社会构成、收入水平、素质情况、职业发展趋势等方面的状况及变化。
The 1960s, with the vigorous development of the American civil rights movement, Native American tribe began to value their citizenship and right to education, the U. S. government is also aware of the importance of the development of national higher education, started the legislative protection of Indigenous Peopl.es right to education, to allow the aboriginal construction of the higher education system in line with their needs. Tribal Colleges gradually began to develop. This article will ananlyze the tribal colleges teacherss'Situation in recent years, and explore the American Academy of contemporary teachers in the social structure, the current situation and changes in income levels, quality of the teachers, and the trends of career development.
