Different from other genres of children's literature,picturebooks create and convey meaning through the interaction of words and pictures.And as a special kind of books.picturebooks material existence also contributes to the picturebooks meaning construction.This article aims to do a research on the structure of the piecturebook medium that creates and conveys meaning of picturebooks' works,and also intends to find an effective analytic mode for constructing a picturebooks' own analytic theory.
