A Design to Monitor Knife Drum Rotating Automatically under the Maintenance Mode of the Rotary Guillotine Cutter

切丝机是烟草制丝线主要设备。本文介绍运用艾默生CT驱动器的STO(Safe Torque Off)禁止力矩输出技术实现刀辊维护模式下的安全低速驱动。

The rotary guillotine cutter is the important equipment in the tobacco production line. This paper introduces an advanced technique which is used in the rotary guillotine cutter. By applying the STO （Safe Torque Off）, a function built in the driver of EMERSON, it can be realized that the Knife drum of the cutter is running safely and slowly in the maintenance mode.
