SWOT Analysis of Dragon & Lion Dance in Colleges and Universities

运用SWOT分析法,对高校开展龙狮运动的情况进行分析。结果显示:高校开展龙狮运动具有培养大学生身心健康,树立正确人生观和价值观,符合校园文化建设等优势;动作难度大,学生参与度小,服装道具要求高等劣势;面临着非物质文化遗产保护的契机,国家发展体育产业和高校体育等机遇;但仍存在教师短缺,学生就业率低、就业质量差和缺乏比赛等尴尬。建议:将其融入校园文化建设;减小动作难度、创新教学手段;加大宣传,提供锻炼机会;采用"多方联合"的培养模式,解决学生"出口"的问题。

By using SWOT analysis method, this paper analyzes the development ot dragon and lion sports m the coUeges and universities. The results show that the dragon and lion sports can help to enhance students＇phys- ical and mental health, to establish correct life and value outlook and it contributes to the construction of campus culture. However, it also faces the disadvantages such as the performance difficulty, students＇ low participation and high command of costumes and props. Though Chinag non material culture protection movement and the na- tional development of sports and sports industry offer chances for the dragon and lion dance movement, it is still meeting with the embarrasements like the deficiency of teachers, low and poor employment for graduates. The paper suggests that the dragon and lion dance movement shall be integrated into campus culture construction, that its performance difficulty shall be reduced, that the teaching method shall be innovated, that more performance chances should be offered and various social forces shall make joint efforts to solve the students＇ ＂input＂ and ＂output＂ problems.
