A Study of the Efficiency of High-tech Industry in Jiangmen by the DEA Model and the Malmquist Index

摘要 采用Malmquist指数方法和基于规模报酬可变的DEA模型,对江门市2010—2013年间高技术产业的七个细分行业进行效率分解分析和动态效率变动分析.结果显示,在研究年限期间,江门市高技术产业整体效率呈增长趋势但仍处于非DEA有效,各行业的技术效率均有较大波动,主要原因是技术创新能力偏弱,最后结合江门市高技术产业的具体情况提出了相应的改善建议. Based on the Malmquist Index and the Input-DEA model of variable returns to scale, the efficiency and movement patterns of 7 subdivided sectors of Jiangmen City’s high-tech industry during 2010—2013 are analyzed. Analysis results show that, during the study period, the overall efficiency of Jiangmen’s high-tech industry was on the rise, but the efficiency of the various sectors had been fluctuating, the main cause being inadequate technical innovation capability. Finally, in light of the actual situation of Jiangmen City’ high-tech industry, some suggestions for improving are advanced.
