Discussion on International Exchange and Cooperation of Yunnan Higher Education under the “Bridgehead” Strategy

近年云南发挥区位优势,高等教育国际交流与合作取得明显成效,但深入发展面临着种种制约。新时期"桥头堡"战略下云南面向东南亚、南亚高等教育国际交流与合作策略,要从确立优先战略地位、加大投入、扩大留学生规模、促进学历互认、优质教育资源共享、建设高水平教育机构等方面来进行。

In recent years, Yunnan has achieved remarkable results in international exchange and coopera-tion of higher education by giving full play to its regional advantages, but its further development is faced with various constraints. Under the “bridgehead” strategy in the new era, the international exchanges and cooperation of Yunnan higher education with Southeast Asia and South Asia should be conducted in terms of priority strategic position, more investment, more foreign student enrollment, mutual recognition of educa-tional attainment, sharing of quality educational resource and setting-up of high-level educational institutions.
