在当今的手机系统中,都会用到一种外部看门狗芯片用来在系统出现程序跑死时,对系统进行复位,以便系统能够重新工作。但是市场上的看门狗芯片在功能和价格等方面都有一定的局限性。针对这些不足之处,提出了一种外部看门狗的设计方案。经过实际测试表明,该设计方案功能正确,运用起来方便灵活,且看门狗芯片成本有较大降低,因而可运用到实际的手机系统中。

In today＇s mobile phone system, a watchdog chip will be used to reset the system when the program runs in death so that it can be back to work. But there are some limitations in the price and function of the watchdog chips in the mark. According to these faults, a new program design scheme of the outside watchdog will be proposed. The practical test shows this program＇s function is correct, its application is convenient and flexible, furthermore, the cost of the watchdog chip is greatly reduced. As a resuh, the proposed program design scheme can be used in the practical mobile phone system.
