通过对地理信息系统的介绍 ,从GIS的角度出发 ,提出了建立GIS城市管网信息系统的必要性 ,并对城市管网信息系统的设计原则、系统设计的功能、系统建立的配置 ,以及系统的应用等方面进行了分析和探讨 ,为城市管理部门、城市规划部门建立科学的、完善的、快捷的城市管网的管理手段 ,为用户提供所需管网的。

On based georgraphical information systems and the necessity to build a GIS information system of pipes nets in cities is proposed.And the design principles,functions layout,and application of the information system of pipe nets in cities etc.are analysed and discussed,and therefore a scientific,perfect and quick management method is provided for the urban management and planning departments,by which the department concercal can provide constomers with necessary data of pipe in cities.
