Discussion on Selection of Grain Logistic Modes in China

通过阐述粮食进出口贸易和国内各省区市粮食自给率,分析我国粮食供需格局,比较我国粮食包粮、散粮、集装箱3种流通方式,以及铁路、公路、水路3种粮食物流模式的优劣势,提出积极倡导粮食多式联运、发展粮食集装箱运输、协调储备粮移库运输和在粮食主产销区建立粮食物流中心等铁路发展粮食物流的建议。

Through expounding the grain import/export trade and the grain self-sufficiency ratio in each province(or municipality) of China, this paper analyzes the grain supply and demand pattern in China, compares the advantages and disadvantages of 3 grain flow modes(including wrapped grain transport, bulk grain transport and container transport) and 3 grain logistic modes(including railway, highway and waterway) in China, and puts forward suggestions on railway developing grain logistics, such as actively initiating grain inter-model transportation, developing grain container transportation, coordinating warehouse-shifting transport of reserve grain and constructing grain logistic centers in major grain producing and marketing areas.
