摘要
旅游文本有其自身的特点,富于文化内涵,是信息性的文本和劝导性的文本。汉语旅游文本与英语旅游文本存在很大差异。在把汉语旅游文本翻译成英语时,既要把握旅游文本自身的特点,又要考虑英汉两种语言表达方式的不同以及读者的接受等方面。
One of the distinctive features of tourismt texts is that they contain a large amount of cultural knowledge and they are highly culture-bound texts. Besides, tourismt texts are informative and persuasive. Most tourism texts in English are written in a very informal tone. They permeates with substantial information, factual description focusing on the in- formation without undue modifiers. Chinese tourism texts are unsubstantial in information, descriptive in form, elegant and general in style, repetition in meaning. All these aspects and the reader' s response should be considered when Chinese tourism texts are translated into English tourism texts.
