1914年抚顺西露天矿开始实施露天开采。2014年露天开采历史已经走过了整整100年。在这100年中,抚顺西露天人开拓进取、奋力拼搏,在抗争、发展和奉献中实现了矿山由弱到强、由小到大的跨越式发展,在中国露天煤矿开采的历史画卷上留下了浓墨重彩的一笔。

In 1914, Fushun west open-pit mine began open-pit mining. Until 2014, open-pit mine has mined 100 years. During 100 years, open-pit staff had pioneering spirit and struggled and achieved leaping development from weak to strong and from small to big in struggle, development and dedication, which left a thick and heavy color in historical drawings of open-pit coal mine mining.
