涂层特性对彩喷纸物理和打印性能的影响 被引量:6

Influence of the Coating Layer Performances on the Physical and Printing Properties of Ink-jet Paper

摘要 采用沉淀碳酸钙(PCC)和白乳胶配制底涂涂料(配方编号:A、B),以二氧化硅(Si O2)和聚乙烯醇为原料制备面涂涂料(配方编号:a、b、c),分别对纸张进行单底涂、单面涂和双层涂布,系统研究了涂层特性(包括颜料和胶黏剂比例不同,涂层层数变化)对彩喷纸物理和打印性能的影响。主要涉及的物理性能指标包括:涂布量、白度、平滑度、光泽度;打印性能指标:色密度、阶调、图像清晰度。研究结果表明,单层涂布中,与配方A相比,配方b的涂布量增加14.2%,平滑度和光泽度分别提高25.8%和7.3%,色密度提升15.7%,且各色阶调曲线斜率均有提高。单层(配方b)与双层(配方A+b)相比,单层的白度、光泽度、线条、文本质量比双层相对高一些,但涂布量、墨点圆度、平滑度和阶调再现性不如双层涂布。此外,随着胶黏剂所占比例的增加,彩喷纸的涂布量增加,白度和光泽度下降,平滑度、色密度及阶调再现性基本上是先上升后下降。 Coating prepared by the precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) and white latex was used as bottom coating ( recipe label : A, B), and coating formula made by silica ( SiO2 ) and polyvinyl alcohol was used as surface coating (recipe label:a, b, c). Then papers were coated respectively on single bottom, single surface and multilayer. The effects on physical and printing performances of ink - jet paper exerted by the coating layer performances ( the proportion of pigment and adhesive, the number of coating layers) were analyzed systematically. Items mainly related to physical properties included coating weight, whiteness, gloss, smoothness. Printing properties were consisted of tone, color solid density and image clarity. The results showed that coating weight of b compared with A increased 14. 2% in single-layer coatings and the smoothness and gloss increased by 25.8% and 7.3% and color solid density increased by 15.7%. Tone curve slopes of colors were also improved. The whiteness, gloss and image quality of single-layer coating ( label b) were better than those of muhilayer coating ( label A + b), except ink dot roundness, smoothness and tone reproduction. With the increasing percentage of adhesive, whiteness and gloss became better, whereas smoothness, color solid density and tone reproduction increased first and then decreased.
