Objective To study the application of the visual elements of Chinese folk needlecrafts on modem packaging design.Methods Some typical cases were introduced to confirm how the visual elements of Chinese folk needlecrafts,such as material,graphic,color,were applied on packaging design.Furthermore,the regulations were put forward for the application of the visual elements of Chinese folk needlecrafts on package design.Conclusion The combination of Chinese folk needlecrafts and modern packaging design was a new way to inherit and develop Chinese folk needlecrafts culture.lt will also provide new ways for the packaging designer.
