有关少数民族的新闻报道对维护我国各民族和谐相处,促进各民族共同团结奋斗、共同繁荣发展,保障少数民族地区乃至全国的安定团结、社会稳定有着不可或缺的重要意义.但是,当前有关少数民族新闻报导在贯彻党和国家的民族理论和民族政策方面,一定程度上存在着一些问题,这些问题的存在既不利于外界对少数民族和少数民族地区的全面深刻的了解,也不利于促进少数民族和少数民族地区的自身发展,因此,必须切实解决好这些问题,才能发挥好少数民族新闻的重要作用.

News and reports concerning ethnic minorities place an irreplaceable and significant role in maintaining the harmonious existence,the unity and the co-prosperity of all nationalities as well as ensuring the peace,unity and the social stability of the ethnic areas and even the whole nation.However,some ethnic news and reports still face issues in the implementation of ethnic theory and policy proposed by the party and the state.These issues not only impede the outside world＇s understanding of China＇s ethnic minorities and ethnic areas,but also hinder the development of ethnic areas.As a result,only through addressing and solving these issues can we give a full and better play to the role of ethnic news.
