摘要
本研究考察频次作用对二语读写任务中学生写作能力的影响。27名英语专业二年级本科生在3周内重复同一读写任务3次。研究结果显示,重复练习对受试写作能力的提高帮助较大。其中,写作内容和语言使用方面进步明显。但是,写作结构和句法复杂性没有进步。本研究全方位地揭示了频次在二语读写任务中的作用,加深了我们对频次效应的理解,对二语写作教学也有借鉴意义。
The present study investigated the effects of frequency on L2 writing in a reading-to-write task. 27 sophomore English majors repeated the same reading-to-write task three times within three consecutive weeks. It reveals that frequency played a facilitative role in helping the subjects improve L2 writing. The content and language of their writing improved significantly,while the structure and syntactic complexity remained almost unchanged as frequency increased. By exploring the different roles of frequency in the development of L2 writing from various perspectives,this study enriches our understanding of frequency effects on L2 learning and gives pedagogical implications to the teaching of L2 writing.
