摘要
文章通过语音实验和统计分析的方法,按照语音格局思路,对维吾尔族双语大学生在学习英语中元音[ɑ]、[i]、[u]的发音特点进行研究。研究发现:学习者的L1、L2都能对L3语音产生迁移作用;L1对L3的迁移作用大于L2对L3的迁移作用;迁移作用的大小与三种语言间的语言(元音)距离有关。
By applying the methods of acoustical experiments and statistical analysis, this paper explores the characteristics of primary vowels([ u ],[i] and [u])acquisition in English as the third language(L3) learned by bilingual Uygur college students on the hypothesis of vowel pattern. The pronunciations of the[ u ],[i],[u] vowels in L1, L2 and L3 uttered by bilingual Uygur college students are analyzed to investigate the different roles of their mother tongue (L1) and Chinese (L2) played in the process of English (L3) vowel acquisition. The main findings of the study are: 1. Both the L1 and L2 may influence the vowel pronunciation in L3 acquisition; 2. In the process of L3 learning, the influence from L1 is more than that from L2; 3. The different transfer effects are caused by the phonetic distance among the three languages
