The World of Tea

茶,在全世界享有盛名并广为流传。 茶在中国有悠久的历史和鲜活的文化,古文中茶这个字可追溯到3000年前,现代汉语中则称为“茶”。最近我有幸和马景恒先生一起品茶论道,他是中国茶文化的内行,而他的另一个身份是长春市外国专家局的局长。在中国早期的茶文化中,人们把叶子磨成粉末状饮用。唐朝时期,中日交流频繁,这种饮茶方式在日本广为传播。

Tea, this one word is known around the world over and can be found in almost every corner in the world. Here in China it has a long history and a culture that is just as long and vibrant, the ancient Chinese word for tea can be traced back to around three thousand years old the word chai which in modern Mandarin is Cha.
