摘要
盛唐以后,儒学的权威失坠,而佛教信仰异常兴盛。为重振儒学,迎接佛教挑战,朱熹等思想家在道统的基础上吸收佛学精华、弃除佛教糟粕,并吸收当时各种文化的养分,成功地创立了朱子理学。而朱熹教育思想与佛学也有一定的关联。朱熹对教育存在的最终根源"理"的界定、对教育的可能与必要的人(心)性论的设定都与佛学有莫大的关系,朱子教育选取的教材也受到佛学的影响。
After the Tang Dynasty, the authority of Confucianism is weak,and Buddhism became prosperous. To revive the Confucian-ism and to meet the challenge of Buddhism, starting from fundamenatal Confucianism,Zhu Xi and other thinkers absorbed the essence of Buddhism and discarded its dross, then took in all kinds of helpful cultural elements, and at last successfully established the Neo-Confu-ciam. Zhu Xi educational thought bears some relation with Buddhism. Such aspects as the ultimate definition of "Li" of idealist philosophy by Zhu Xi, and whether education is possible and the necessary human nature to make education possible,etc. all have something to do with Buddhism; and the same is true of the teaching materials chosen by Zhu Xi himself.
