Through the literature material method,expert interview method and logical inductive method,the article had a research and analysis on the culture of dragon boat racing. The study found that there are close relations between the origin of the dragon boat culture and religion. In addition,the dragon boat culture have functions of patriotic education and cultural continuity. The dragon boat racing also has certain unity, entertainment, fitness, education and economic functions.
