Five main factors for rape planting area reduction in Suzhou Region were analyzed, as well as four advantages of developing rape production. Five countermeasures were put forward, including government guidance, financial support; increase awareness training; agricultural science education and enterprises combination ; development of high quality edible oil ; broaden the development space of rape industry.
