On Integrative Development of “Intangible Cultural Heritage” Protection and Cultural Tourism in Ethnic Minority Areas:A Case Study of Xiangxi Tujia & Miao Autonomous Prefecture

融合发展是指将非物质文化遗产置于文化旅游发展的社会背景下,与文化旅游活动有机结合,有选择,有适度,有成效的面向旅游市场,进行科学规划与生产性开发,将文化资源转化为文化产品,在取得社会效益的同时,取得较好的经济效益,进而推进非物质文化遗产的保护与延续。结合湘西州近年来"非遗"保护与文化旅游融合发展的实践与成效,可以洞见延续"非遗"生命力的可行性与有效途径。

Integrative development refers to the integration of economic development and the protection and continuation of the intangible cultural heritage. In other words,it firstly puts the intangible cultural heritage under the social background of developing the cultural tourism. Secondly,with the combination of intangible cultural heritage and cultural tourism activities,it converts cultural resources into cultural products by facing the tourism market with selective,moderate,and effective means. Also,it scientifically plans and productively develops the intangible cultural heritage. Thus,both social benefits and economic benefits are obtained,facilitating the protection and continuation of the intangible cultural heritage. Based on the practices and effectiveness of the integrative development of intangible cultural heritage and cultural tourism,we can see the feasibility and the effective way of the vitality of the continuation of the intangible cultural heritage.
