Ki67标记应写入病理学教科书

摘要 关于肿瘤细胞的增殖有很多的误解,肿瘤细胞常被认为增殖快。但实际上并非如此,肿瘤细胞的增殖周期是延长或不变。肿瘤生长快的主要原因是处于增殖周期的细胞比例增多了。这个比例称为生长分数,在临床病理上,可用Ki67染色标记。Ki67标记比例越高,肿瘤生长越快,恶性度越高,但常常也对放化疗更敏感。我们建议将此内容写入病理学教科书并重点讲授。 There exist many misunderstandings about the cancer cell proliferation. It is generally taken that cancer cells proliferate faster. However, the truth is that the cell cycle time of cancer cells is longer or does not change as compared with their normal counterparts. The main reason making the tumor grow faster is the increase of proliferation cell ratio, which is called growth fraction. In surgical pathology, the cells in proliferation cycle can be labeled by Ki67 immunostaining. Generally speaking, the higher the Ki67 labeling ratio, the faster the tumor grows, and the more malignant the tumor is. Interestingly, high Ki67 labeling also indicates better response to radio and chemotherapy. We here suggest that Ki67 labeling should be written into the textbook of pathology and lectured as key points.
