余光中和周梦蝶都是"蓝星诗社"的成员,一个是诗文双绝的才子,一个是独行孤绝的隐士,他们的诗歌为台湾诗坛树立了标新立异的航标。他们均深受中西文化的熏陶,对诗歌在文学中的独立地位也有所共识,对世界宇宙有着不谋而合的价值观,它们相互渗透并影响着二人的诗歌风格与创作道路。虽然,他们对诗歌所表达的意义追求和表现各有独特的见解,但是对生命的瞬逝和永恒却有不同的感受。其中,二人在"自我"表达,"孤独"审视和"死亡"感知这三个生命主题上存有相似之处,但是由于个体生活经历和对宇宙人生感悟的不同,二人在此话题上存在一定差异性和可比性。

Yu Guangzhong and Zhou Mengdie, a versatile scholar in poetry himself, served as the members in ＂Blue - Star Poetry Association＂. They and prose writings and a man alone with both are real trend - setters in the realm of Taiwan poetry circles . It is also clear that they involved in the Chinese and Western culture and reached a con- sensus toward the individual stand of poetry in literature. Yu and Zhou coincided with their world values which mu- tually influenced their styles and paths in poetry writings. Although they had showed unique opinions to the mean- ing and manifestation of poems, their perceptions of ephermerality and eternality of life were different. As in the ex- pression of self, introspection of solitude, and the contemplation of death, the poets shared common views among these three topics. However, these were also diversified from their different life experience and dissimilar inspiration under the vast universe.
