This article analyzes advantages and basis of the participation of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone（BGEZ）in jointly building the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road,proposes development suggestions to BGEZ in the construction of the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road and cooperation with ASEAN.
