Cambodia-China Cooperation in ASEAN Context:Jointly Creating the Upgraded Version of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area

柬埔寨与中国的关系始于扶南时期,在历史、文化和商业等方面联系紧密,随着时间的发展,两国间的合作尤其是在中国—东盟背景下的经济合作,正朝着更广阔、更深入的方向发展。截至2013年末,中国在柬埔寨的投资额增加到96.4亿美元。中国在柬埔寨的主要投资项目为:水电站、电网、服装厂、农业、矿产、经济特区、银行、不动产、餐饮以及旅游等。中国积极支持企业到柬埔寨进行各项投资,推动柬埔寨经济发展。

Cambodia-China relations began in Funan period,the historical,cultural and commercial contact between the two countries are very close,with the development of the time,cooperation between the two countries,especially the economic cooperation in China-ASEAN Context,is moving in a more broader and deeper direction.To the late of year 2013,the amount of China investment in Cambodia is increased to 9,640 million USD. In total China investment is about half of all investment in Cambodia. Main investment of China in Cambodia are hydropower station sectors,electricity transmission network,garment factory,agriculture,mineral,special economic zone,banking,immovable property,restaurant and tourism etc. China strongly support the development of Cambodia,promote Chinese enterprises to invest in Cambodia,and actively contribute to social development of Cambodia.
