不久前闭幕的2014CCTV“汉语桥”全球外国人汉语大会上,活泼开朗的美国大妞黄小猫给观众留下了深刻印象.最终,这个会说相声、演小品、一口东北腔儿的金发美女获得了大会季军.

The CCTV 2014 Chinese Bridge- Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreigners was held recently.The audience was deeply impressed by the participants,including a lively and cheerful American girl with the Chinese name meaning Yellow Kitten,who took the third place.She showed her ability of playing cross-talks and performing comic with strong northeast Chinese accent.The girl is 23 year old.Since she was eight years old,her parents have worked in Shenyang several times.This gives her chances to study Chinese.She well remembers her first meal in the capital city of Liaoning Province which she says is Pot Big Meat.It’s very delicious,she said.The girl has a local Chinese boy friend and she learns from him to cook the Chiense food,of course including the Big Pot Meat.According to the Yellow Kitten,she has many local friends whom she says are honest and talkative.She says she is determined to work to make more Americans know more of China,Shengyang included.
