地市级古籍保护中心是国家古籍保护体系的重要组成部分,对于推动当地的古籍保护工作有着天然的便利条件。苏州市古籍保护中心成立三年多来,开展了一系列活动,加强了各古籍收藏单位的联系和交流,通过积极整合各方古籍保护力量,有力推进了当地的古籍保护工作。如何采取更有效的手段来发动广大民间古籍收藏者参与国家的古籍保护工作,如何激励古籍保护工作人员的积极性,最大限度地挖掘内部潜力,以及如何争取更多的制度保障和政策支持,都是地市级古籍保护中心在运行中需要思考和解决的问题。

As an important part of national preservation system for ancient books, the centers at prefecture - level have their own advantages in promoting local ancient books preservation work. Since its establishment three years ago, Suzhou Preservation Center for Ancient Books has carried out a series of activities to strengthen cooperation and communication among major ancient books collection entities, as well as actively integrated all parties to promote local ancient books preservation work.
