南乐文庙浅谈

文庙,俗称孔庙,是历代祭祀孔子的地方。孔子,作为中国古代杰出的思想家、政治家与教育家,其创立的儒家学说,在中国整个封建时代,顺应统治阶级的需要,一直处于独尊儒家的地位,为中国古代思想、文化的正宗。因此中国封建时代,凡县以上行政单位,多有孔庙。南乐文庙作为南乐县古代教育机构的重要组成部分。通过对南乐文庙的研究,不仅可以明确南乐古县城的布局规模,还可以进一步了解封建社会的教育制度和文庙建筑在城市中的功能与意义。
