Experiment of Spatial Way-finding in Underground Complex

为了找出影响地下综合体空间寻路的相关因素,对北京西单77街地下综合体进行空间寻路实验,跟踪记录使用者的寻路过程,并对其进行认知地图绘制与寻路感受访谈,了解使用者在寻路过程中的困难程度与关注要点.结果表明:竖向空间的不规律布置是导致空间寻路困难的重要原因之一;空间环境线索设计可以作为空间寻路的重要手段.

To find out the related factors affecting the underground complex spatial way-finding, through the spatial way-finding experiment of Beijing 77th street in Xidan underground complex, the way-finding process of the users was tracked. The cognitive map was drew and the users＇ way-finding feeling was interviewed, and difficulty and key point of the users in the way-finding process were mastered. Analysis shows that layout irregular vertical space is one of the important causes for way-finding difficulty, and space environmental cues design can be one of the most important means used as the spatial way-finding.
